Microsoft accessed my machine and recreated the error in several different ways and they tell me it is in fact a phototop issue related to the version of photoshop or an update that happened.Įither way I have a lot of files now that I can't open or access in photoshop when in fact 90 percent of them were all created and edited with photoshop.Ĭustomer support basically told me unless I want to update to the paid monthly photoshop they can't help me. Adobe told me it was a microsoft issue and to contact them, so I did. Tried to delete the file extension and do an open with Photoshop and that didn't work either.

Tried to change the file extension with numerous different ones, all of which didn't work. Tried to open in illustrator with same results. Tried to open in paint, and that didn't work. I've tried all the normal or work around fixes and nothing works.

I keep getting two errors when trying to open older files that I created with the same version I'm currently using which is CS6.
